Who am I / My background

My name is Zuzana Maťaše and languages have been my passion since primary school.

Since childhood, I have dreamed of living in the UK and I fulfilled this dream in 2009 when I started my studies at Solent University in Southampton, UK. After studies, I spent some time working for a tour operator in London so I have experience, in both the academic environment, but also in everyday conversations with native English speakers and communication in the workplace.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to work as an English teacher in a language school and it was here that I had the opportunity to see how meaningful and fulfilling it is when I can help other people improve their use of a foreign language and pass on my acquired knowledge and experience.

I have taught 1000+ lessons and in 2024, I passed the state English language exam with distinction.

I believe that mastering English is a necessity in today’s world and I would be happy if you decide to improve it with me at Lingvisto. In my classes, I emphasize practical use of the language and communication – my goal is to strengthen your self-confidence when speaking in a foreign language so that you feel confident in everyday situations and can manage on your own, whether in a work environment or when traveling.
